    Hi guys,

    I need your help. I am using the latest version of Worpdress, the latest Enfold Theme and the latest WPML Plugins. Nothing more.

    Allways when I am creating a new Slider with Layerslider it shows me all in the preview windows like everything is ok. Then I am saving the slider (it seems to be ok), but afterwards the slider seems to have empty slides and on the page it only shows me the first slide (the second one is shown as a white slide for the duration I gave that slide).

    I tried already:
    – Memory Limit is now 256 M (WordPress is using 102 M from that)
    – I installed jQuery-Updater (cos I can´t see any result I am hoping it is doing his job)
    – I deactivated and activated all plugins already

    No chance to get it running. Please help.

    Notice: Cos I am starting to create this site – there is no menu available and no more sites created right now. But I don´t think that this will have any impact to the slider.

    Hey joerglott!

    there might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/

    Can you provide us admin access if you still need help please? post it here as private reply.

    Hey Andy,

    thanks for your reply. I copied – also deleted all the old theme files before – but it doesn´t change anything.
    The next four days I am not in the office – when I am back I will reinstall full wordpress on this site. If there is the assumption something on the files is broken (or maybe some in the database is broken – could it be?) – maybe this would work. Luckily there isn´t any content right now on this site – the failure appears directly at the first session :).
    I will come back to you and tell you about the progress.

    Hi guys,

    cos of the bad weather (snow here – I don´t like) I rescheduled my travel and did find some time for the Layerslider issue. I found it – there aren´t any corrupted files and also the database are not corrupted. But: wrong permissions on the files.

    I changed it and everything seems to be working. For my point of view we can close this topic.

    Note: The shipped zip-file with Themeforrest contains also a _MACOSX directory which isn´t needed (or I don´t know for what?). That is the reason why the enfold.zip couldn´t be installed directly with WordPress Installer (unzip and rezip the enfold Directory without _MACOSX-Dir may help to install with WordPress). I had used the ftp installing for this theme. For me it is fine.

    _MACOSX file is for those who are using Mac. You can ignore the file.
