    Hi,

    My developer installed Enfold theme for me version 4.4.1 I don’t know how to update it as I am no longer in touch with him. How can I update this theme without an API key?

    Yes, I’m able to log into the admin of my website. No, I don’t have access to the themeforest account from which it was purchased. It was purchased ans installed for me.

    I have never been able to update my theme since it was installed all this time. I would need to buy it in order to update anything. Can you tell me how to proceed?

    OK. Cool. Thanks Jordan. I purchased the theme. When I install it, it says: we detected an existing enfold theme, do you want to replace it?
    If I click on yes, will I lose all the information on my website? Or will the theme be updated and my website remains unchanged? My current version is 4.4.1.

    Hi Anh Linh,

    You can click yes, the files will overwrite. You should not lose anything but it is always recommended to have a backup ready before attempting an update.
