    Hi Mike
    I solved the problem for the lost theme editor by deactivate the Really Simple SSl plugin.
    How can i activate this plugin again without losing the theme editor?

    I solved the problem; the theme editor is back!
    Now i can go on with the other thread: drop down menus in the left side bar menu.
