    Hello,
Is it possible to change the Enfold theme’s direction from RTL to LTR and vice versa, depending on the language selector? For example, I have two languages on the website, with English as the default and Arabic as the other. If I choose Arabic, I want to completely switch the theme’s direction to RTL (including the header, logo, page contents, and footer). Is this possible in Enfold, and is there a website that operates in this manner that I can take a look at?
    Thanks

    Hey mustafa-alani,
I believe that you will need to add some code to the end of your child theme functions.php, please see this thread.
But I believe that to change some of your layout you will need to use a plugin like WPML, please see our documentation
When you use the plugin it changes the them admin panel so that each language can have a different layout, so in one language the logo can be on the left, and in the other it will be on the right, and the footer widget columns can be to opposite to each other. This is not done via RTL language files, they only change the text so it you also want to change the layout you will need to manually do so.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks for your support.
I’m currently considering subscribing to WPML for a one-year period to configure my Enfold theme for multilingual functionality. Specifically, my aim is to enable right-to-left (RTL) language support and perform translations. However, I have a question regarding the subscription.
If I choose to disable the auto-renewal of WPML after the initial one-year subscription period, will this have any adverse effects on the functionality of my website, or is it a safe and viable option?
Your expertise and guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks once again for your assistance.

    Hi,
As I understand the subscription is to keep WPML updated with improvements and bug fixes, it doesn’t effect your site’s functionality, you will still be able to use the plugin as before.
At some point you will probably use all of your translation credits for the built-in auto translation, but you can still manually translate your new pages with Google Translate and save it to your site.

    Best regards,
    Mike
