Hi, my website crashed when I was trying edit the switch codes from WPML . I cannot access WP admin either. According to WPML ‘s advice, I backed up from my host and upgraded WP to version 4. When I tried to activate Theme Enfold, the whole website crashed again.

I am writing to see if there is any possibility of the plugin conflict with the theme? What actions should I take next?

    Thanks

Hi, an update, I have backed up from my host and they told me it seems like the theme conflicts with WP 4.0? Please advice.

    Hi!

Can you post the link to your website please?
Also, please make sure that you are using the latest version of Enfold which is 3.0.2 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Hi!

Since active theme is not Enfold now we cannot check which version of the theme you are using.
I am not 100% sure but i think FileZilla should work fine on Windows XP – https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?show_all=1

Hi, I have solved the problem of ftp uploading and activated enfold 3.0.2. So far the website works since I deactivated all plugins. Please advice when and how can I activate plugins?

My website crash-down started with the application of WPML.

    Thanks

    Hey!

Have you de-activated plugins by changing the name of “plugins” folder in wp-content via FTP? If so, you can go back and rename the folder to “plugins”. Please make sure that you are using the latest version of WPML plugin as well.

    Best regards,

I am having a similar issue.
Once some of the WPML plugins are activated the admin doesn’t work.

    Hey!

That is an issue of WPML and the php version they are using, that comes up with conflicts.
Please do contact your php host to make sure, you are using the latest php version

    Best regards,
    Basilis
