    Hello,
    I want to build a web site with a business directory section. I want to support our local dealers and craftsmen. The page should look like a yellow page site with the name of the company, the address, some details and a google maps page.

    Please correct me. But as far as I understood it would be possible to create a static site with all companies and to show a neadle for each of them on a google map. But it is not possible to store the details in a data base table and to generate the page at runtime. Is this true?

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the late reply!

    Yes, out of the box, you would only be able to add each company manually. I am pretty sure there are listing plugins in WP repository to support such functionality however I do not have experience with any of them to recommend unfortunately.
