I have a client that I took over her website management from the original company she used. I noticed they never entered a license for the theme (the previous company) as the themes and the plugins that came with the theme are way out of date. I let my client know who owns the sites and of course she had no idea. I found the price for your theme license on themeforest but in the meantime I am grilling her old website company on where the license is for the enfold theme they used in hopes they provide me one for my client. I assume they won’t get back to me anymore now that they know I know they are using a theme without a license. I will be letting your company know the company of the web designer that did this to my client in hopes you stop them in the future from doing this to other websites clients. I will share the info once I am done seeing for sure if they even purchased this theme or not by end of day. If they don’t get back to us today, I will be purchasing a license for my client so we can get her licensed and up to date, of course as she needs this and should have had from the beginning. It is horrible of a company to do this. My question for now is once I purchase this license, do you think I will have any issues with the update since they are so out of date?

    Hey Sarah Mullin,

Sorry to hear about that, not a very nice policy of the company you are describing. It’s unfortunately almost impossible for us to stop behaviour like that.

About the update; I would recommend that you create a staging copy of the site and update there first, then you can deal with any problems there instead of on the production site.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

What you describe is no normal at all.
Yo see if the license number is real, please try create a new user on our web site, for getting support.
If it works – you will be fine then with that license code.

    Best regards,
    Basilis
