    Hi,
    I can’t update pages etc because the whole wp-admin looks strange as soon as you go into for instance a page, the wp meny is on the right and I can edit but not save the page.
    I had updated everything, the theme via ftp, plugins, wp and also tried to take away enfold child theme but nothing helps
    I have reset the database several times to earlier version and upload older version of wp 5.5.3 but doesn’t help so please can you help me

    It’s a mess!!!

    Could you update your site URL to https on the page in private, to see if that makes any difference please?

    Hi again,
    Done that but doesn’t help it looks the same so can you please have a look what’s wrong. I also change the php version because it was 7.2 and now 7.4.15

    Hi Annika,

    You have the footer.php file in your child theme, did you update it too with a fresh copy?

    Also, you have some code in the fucntions.php to add some theme options, what is that?

    Hi,
    But as I wrote I even took away this files from the child-theme and still there where an issue, I have now take them away again so you can have a look. I never seen this thing happened before and it’s like enfold and WP doesn’t work together. Did you have a look on one page how it looks?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. Would it be ok if we try to upload a fresh copy of the theme for you? Also, would it be ok if we temporarily disable plugins for debugging purposes? Also please make sure and verify that you have backups of the site.

    Hi,

    Yes there could have been an incompatibility with the previous version that no longer exists in the update.
