Hi the text preview field has disappeared from the posts. On the main page we have just a overview about all our post.
Before the last update, of the Endfold in the post there was a field where we can put this preview text for the main page.
All the best,

PascalOctober 31, 2020 at 6:55 pm #1257293Hi Pascal,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

November 3, 2020 at 6:54 am #1257876Hi Pascal,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
I tried to follow but I think this text preview field you mentioned needs to be clarified, to avoid misunderstanding.
Is this in the backend or front or is it the blog excerpt/summary for each post? if it’s in the front you can try to check in https://web.archive.org/ which may have a snapshot showing it.
If it’s in the backend, then maybe give us a screenshot then point where it was located before, so we can try to reproduce on our endsBest regards,
NikkoNovember 3, 2020 at 10:28 am #1257924Hi Nikko
Ok, j try to explain it:
With the Example: https://www.weinheiten.ch/find-your-german-wine/1. The preview text of the post https://www.weinheiten.ch/find-your-german-wine/ wich appears on the start siite:
is the following:
In Deutschland wird auf einer Fläche von insgesamt rund 102.000 Hektar Wein angebaut. Die Rebfläche verteilt sich auf 13 deutsche Weinanbaugebiete für Qualitätsweine, die in ihrer Grösse sehr stark variieren.2. before the update, there was in the backend post edit a field in the right widget area, like ‘post pictures’, for this text.
3. so where i can define the text of the post ‘In Deutschland wird auf einer Fläche von insgesamt rund 102.000 Hektar Wein angebaut. Die Rebfläche verteilt sich auf 13 deutsche Weinanbaugebiete für Qualitätsweine, die in ihrer Grösse sehr stark variieren.’ wich apears on startsite? All the best,
PascalNovember 3, 2020 at 6:09 pm #1258082Hi Pascal,
Thank you so much for the detailed instruction :)
I see you were referring to the excerpt, in the upper right of the screen you should see ‘Ansicht anpassen’ (Screen Options), click it then check ‘Textauszug’ (Excerpt) and it should show again.
I have already done it on your site but in case it will be unchecked again, you’ll just need to do these steps.Best regards,
NikkoNovember 4, 2020 at 12:47 pm #1258231Thanks Nikko,
