    Hi guys!

    I have a huge problem and don’t know how to solve it. I’m creating a page, filling it with info and when everything is ready I press the update button. And here are some options I face:

    1. After the update half of content disappears at back-end. Of course I can restore the previous version with the revision button, but then I should do the changes again and again and I can’t be sure that everything will be safely saved.
    2. After the update the content at back-end is saved but I can’t see everything on my website. Some content disappears and in most cases only the end of the page is incorrect even if I make changes for the beginning of the page.
    3. I press update button – than I have the message “Security Problems” – it returns me back to log in page – I log in again and return to my page – but the process of update has already failed and all my changes are lost.
    4. Sometimes it works perfectly but it happens rarely.

    I have made some screenshots, if it helps I can send it to you somehow.

    Hey Olga,

    Please send us admin login details in private and specify on what page you are having this problem and what changes you are attempting when the problem occurs.

    What pages: basically it happens from time to time on all pages. Mostly on welcome page (home).
    What changes: it doesn’t matter, what changes I make. It can be even something small like add the link to some box or text correction.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the details.

    You have a lot of unclosed html markup in your content which breaks the editor unfortunately, for example:

    Pump up your <strong> body<strong>, <strong> style<strong>,<strong> brain<strong>.<strong>

    Here’s how to close markup correctly:

    <strong>Bold text closed properly</strong>

    Please try to look for all instances where you have markup in your content and close it properly.

    Hey guys again!

    My problem has become even worth. When I tried to close the markups properly like you suggested me, at first I couldn’t save the page properly, because like earlier the content disappears. Then I decided to restore the previous version of the website in order to return my texts and now the situation is the following: I have this page with all the content on my back end but I see nothing on my website. It seems like the page is empty but actually it’s not. And I have this problem only on my main page, other pages work normally. Please help me to solve this problem!

    Hi,

    You still have a lot of unclosed markup, your second element on the page for instance:

    Pump up your <strong> body<strong>, <strong> style<strong>,<strong> brain<strong>.<strong>

    Could you try to recreate the page without adding any markup to if maybe? I think that would be your least time consuming option. Also please update the theme to the latest version (3.8.4): http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
