    Good day! I have been troubleshooting this issue for a few days now. When I try to install the theme in WordPress, I encounter this error “The link you followed has expired.”, and a link to “try again”. I have tried multiple solutions (upload via FTP, editing the php.ini file, uploading from different machines) but none seems to work. The enfold files are in my sites’ file manager in the wp-content/themes directory, but the theme does not show up as an option in WordPress. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey Emory,

    Could you try to download the zip file to your local computer from your Themeforest account, then go to Appearance->Themes and select Add New on the top of the page to see if that works better?

    Rikard,

    Unfortunately, this produces the same results. Are there any other solutions? I am using GoDaddy hosting, it seems that this theme and GoDaddy have issues working together from what I’ve read. What other possible solutions are there?

    Hi Emory,

    Sorry for the problems, we’ve had other customers have the same problem but I still don’t know exactly what you are doing to create it. Could you upload the file you are trying to install to somewhere where we can access it, for instance Dropbox or Google Drive, and then link to it in private here. Then post admin login detail in as well in private so that we can try it out on our end.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, I get the same problem on my end. Finally I get to see this error :)

    It looks to be a GoDaddy problem, there is a solution in this thread which you can try out: https://ph.godaddy.com/community/Managing-WordPress/Wordpress-theme-upload-error-quot-The-link-you-followed-has/td-p/101292, you will find it close to the end of the thread.

    Hello,

    I am havin g the same problem however I don use godaddy. When I try installing I get “The link you followed has expired.” followed by the “try again” part.

    Please help me fix this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
