    Hello,

We were assigned to fix the web page accessibility issues an old website using your theme had.

We have updated wordpress and your theme to the very latest versions. We also installed the recommended “One Click Accessibility” plugin and used your “Accessibility Conformance Level (Global Setting)” to make it AAA (didn’t change anything).

So with https://validator.w3.org/nu/?showsource=yes&showoutline=yes&showimagereport=yes we are checking the website and seeing issues with frameborder attribute. The results (follow the link in the private content – link to the website also there) show errors “The frameborder attribute on the iframe element is obsolete.”

When we searched your forum, we saw a thread from 2016 having the same but you did not give any solutions there.

On https://stackoverflow.com/questions/26274082/the-frameborder-attribute-on-the-iframe-element-is-obsolete-use-css-instead we found a solution.

Where can we change the frameborder attribute with border: 0px; and fix the issue?

    Kindest regards

    Hello,

Almost 48 hours later and no reply. In the meantime, tickets opened later than ours did get a reply.

How does that make any sense? Is there a selective support?

    Hi,
Thank you for your patience, I have reviewed your page source code and used the validator that you linked to, but found no frameborder attribute.
Please explain further where this can be found, if you have not already solved it.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hello,

For one, we had to remove all the parts of the website which were not passing the validator. This changed the website appearance drastically and we had to explain to the customer that it’s 100% a theme’s mistake.

For two, your support is so slow (4 days to reply…) that we had to find a way ourselves by disabling or removing every part of your theme which was causing errors. We did not fix the theme, nor the errors which are still there, but we found a way around (it’s not CSS – it’s a rather bizarre and weird way which works for no logical reason).

You should definitely see these errors as they date from 2016 as mentioned in my other thread…

Below i give you the errors from the validator. We had kept them in a notepad.

    You may close this ticket.
