Hi,
I’ve started using the TEC new design – some parts work so much better than the older version. But I noticed that the featured images are no longer showing on venues and organisers pages – you can still set featured images, but it’s not showing up on the front end.
If I need to edit the template, would like to be pointed to the right direction.

Thank you for the inquiry.
The layout issues are due to the new calendar designs in the latest version of the plugin. To fix the issue, you can either disable the Events > Settings > Display (tab) > Use updated calendar designs option or override the default-template.php file in your child theme. Please check the following thread for more info.
