I am trying to simply take a content element, like text block or separator, and place it between existing text blocks and separators.
But..
Every time i place something between the existing blocks, the item dissapears. It doesnt get rendered. I tried copying the existing text blocks, and then dragging them between the desired location…
But then the same thing happens.
Problem persisted for 2 days.
Please enter website, experience and solve problem.

October 3, 2015 at 8:28 pm #513196Hey elliotstiller!
First off go ahead and update to the latest version of Enfold, 3.3.2. Your currently using version 3.2. Also be sure to deactivate all plugins while testing.
Is it only happening in a certain page? If so then try recreating the page to see if that fixes it.
Cheers!
ElliottOctober 4, 2015 at 2:06 am #5132541. I do not want to recreate the entire page because it would take me hours, being as there is an immense amount of content on that one page (my whole website).
2. Where in my dashboard can I update to the latest version of Enfold?
Under Updates –> Themes –> It doesnt show any new updates for Enfold.
3. I created a new content block, 2/3rd length.
Before I just had one.
Now I have two.
In the visual composer, I am able to drag and drop into my second content block, new text blocks and elements in place to continue creating my website.
When I preview and update my website, failure happens. Any content in the second block does not render.
But it appears in my Visual Composer. Can you enter website and update the theme; experience my problem– and solve it.

October 5, 2015 at 8:19 am #513528Hey,
Please try to update the theme manually via FTP if it should not work from the backend: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/.
Regards,
RikardOctober 10, 2015 at 1:08 am #516714I have had a lot of trouble trying to update the theme manually.
I propose two courses of action:1. Are you certain that we cannot update the theme from the WordPress Dashboard?
Did you try to, yourself, from my website?2. I need to be walked-through the update process via screenshare or phonecall if one cannot simply update the theme from the WP Dashboard.
Here are problems I am encountering [I watched the video]
1. I could not find the “Version” folder.2. I could not figure out how to open my FTP Tool or connect to server.
a. Where is the FTP tool
b. How do I open it
c. How do I connect to the server3. Clarify—the directions tell me to “unzip” the folder. What does that mean?
I don’t get it, because my folder appears to be already unzipped.
The folder on desktop is titled Enfold—responsive theme [etc]
I click on it; there is a folder inside called “enfold”
I click on that, and all the sub-folders below are contained within.October 12, 2015 at 7:28 am #517122Hey!
1.) I checked the Theme Update panel but you didn’t enter the account username and api key. Please get it on your themeforest account: http://themeforest.net/help/api
2.) I’m sorry but we don’t provide that kind of service. All support inquiries are handled through the forum
3.) If you download the theme from the themeforest account download panel, it should be the latest version so you don’t have to check it.
I don’t get it, because my folder appears to be already unzipped.
The folder on desktop is titled Enfold—responsive theme [etc]
I click on it; there is a folder inside called “enfold”That is actually the correct theme zip file. You have to extract ( for pc: https://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/cf_extract.mspx?mfr=true for mac: http://support.topspinmedia.com/hc/en-us/articles/204262713-How-to-extract-a-zip-file-on-a-Mac) the actual enfold zip from the theme zip package. You can do that by simply dragging the enfold folder within the enfold theme zip package to your desktop. Use that file to update the theme. If you can send us a copy of the file, we’ll update it for you. Upload it on mediafire or dropbox.

IsmaelOctober 22, 2015 at 7:21 am #522753I plugged in my API Key and i was told that i am running the most current version of the theme, 3.2
Apparently the theme updates panel of enfold is completely incorrect, because… you are telling me to update to 3.3.2 — right?
As such, I will have to do what you tell me… in step 3.
How do i upload something on dropbox?
October 22, 2015 at 3:27 pm #523037Hi!
You can update the theme manually via FTP and overwrite all files – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
You can upload your screenshots on imgur.com as well and post the links here

YigitOctober 23, 2015 at 12:59 am #523412This thread has been going on for a while, and I would like to give a recap. I am not certain is a manual update is what is necessary…. After a re-cap we might understand a different course of action to be necessary.
With my website, I have been having two problems.
1. If I make any edits to the page titled “News”, of the website titled “Westchesternews.info”,
then the sidebar on the right dissapears entirely.
It is OK if i just open a box but dont make any edits to it. But if i do any edits then the sidebar dissapears.2. I cannot add any more content blocks to the “News” page. In the text editor– advanced layout– it takes those blocks, adds it in, and everything looks merry, like any ordinary day building a website. But when i preview, those new blocks I added are not there.
———With this in mind, I asked for help. I was told that a solution might be to update to the newest version of Enfold.
So, I updated to the newest version. I am running 3.3.2 now.And the problem persists.
So, what do i do?

October 26, 2015 at 5:31 am #524631Hi Elliott,
I think this is related to your other thread about text becoming small in some areas. The problem is unclosed html markup when for instance setting text to be bold it would look like this:
<strong>This text is bold</strong>
It’s very important to not forget the closing tag
</strong>
, as it might break the layout builder if left unclosed. Could you check all your text boxes for unclosed/unnessessary html markup please?Best regards,
RikardOctober 29, 2015 at 6:30 pm #527065I checked everything as thoroughly as someone from czekoslavakia might (check-o-slavakia) [Joke]
and i discovered indeed there was <div> problems, and then i fixed it and everything was merry.
Finally, at long last, 2 months down the road, i complete the website.
Would you care to look at the page and let me know if its a smooth visual experience for you?
Westchesternews.infoOctober 29, 2015 at 9:00 pm #527142Hey!
The only thing I noticed was that your color section background image wasn’t spanning the full width of the page. You can fix that by editing the color section background options and setting the repeat to “Stretch to fit” and then setting the position to “center center”.
Cheers!
