There are various problems on the side with the text wrapping. how can they be remedied?

You can first try disabling your plugins to see if their is a conflict in that regard.
Otherwise you can insert the below css into your custom css section of your theme options.
.av_one_half .av_textblock_section { overflow-wrap: break-word !important; }Best regards,
