    I’m using the social share buttons at the foot of blog posts. When I click the Twitter icon, it shares on Twitter the title of the post. Is there a way to set the text that gets tweeted? – e.g. to include a longer message, and/or my Twitter handle.

    Hi,

    Thanks. I don’t know how to access or use the functions.php file. It’s been great when you’ve given me code to put in the Quick CSS box – is there something you can give me for this? If not, I’ll need to pass this task to my tech guy I think.

    I’d like to be able to customise the message that gets tweeted, so it’s a tease snippet about the blog + Twitter handle, not just the blog title + Twitter handle.

    Hi,

    You can also use a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/jm-twitter-cards/ to modify the twitter card info.
