I couldn’t figure out how to put text on a the whole screen slider. i need different text for each slide. for now i integrated the text into the slide which of course doesn’t work…..but it shows what i’d like to do.

    Hey steffschnecke,

Youll need to create the text layer from the MasterSlider because youre using an image with the text, so, this way isn`t possible to have a responsive text.

    Hi,

I think @john was referring to the Fullwidth Easy Slider or the Fullscreen Easy Slider. If you want to create complex sliders, use the layer slider plugin.

thanks! i think he meant the plug-in master slider. that makes sense. it still doesn’t answer the question how to overlay the text. could you help here?

in other words, in the basic theme one cannot overlay text on a slideshow. one needs to install a plug-in. that’s correct?

    Hi,

Have you tried using the slider’s Caption Positioning settings? You can select “framed” captions.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
