I have disabled every plug-in. I have the latest version of WordPress and Enfold.
If I place a Text Block on a page, I can edit it and save. If I need to go back into that block, none of the text appears.
If I change the preview background color, nothing happens.
If I blindly select the ghost text in the area, it appears like there is nothing there.
If I save it again, the text appears just like it did on the initial edit in the preview, however if I try to edit that same block again, the placeholder text appears: (Click here to add your own text)
If I save after seeing the placeholder text, my original text shows up on the page. Not sure if this makes a difference or not: This site is on a subdomain in order to build the site for approval before having it go live on the client’s actual domain.

March 15, 2018 at 8:17 am #927117Hey JPGlobal,
Thanks for the login details. I tried editing a text block on your front page and that seems to work as expected. On which particular page is this happening?
Also, you have two installations of the parent theme, please delete the one you are not using.

Still having issues.March 16, 2018 at 5:35 am #927906Hi,
Thanks for that, I see the problem there on my end as well. Could you try to activate debug mode in order to see builder shortcodes: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/, then copy all the shortcodes to a new page to see if that helps please?
Best regards,
RikardMarch 16, 2018 at 4:09 pm #928148The debug mode is activated and I copied all the shortcodes to a new page. When I went back to Advanced Layout, I still had the same issue. Hope I followed the instructions that you recommended, because I am unsure.
Shortcode that was copied is below:
March 19, 2018 at 4:35 pm #929133Hi,
I tried to login and check your site but I’m getting an error
Are you using Wordfence or any other security plugin? If so please whitelist the below file in the plugin settings.
wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
If you still have the same issue please try to deactivate all plugins for testing purpose and let us know if that helps.

VinayMarch 19, 2018 at 6:34 pm #929217I accidentally built my temporary site on a subdomain that is not included within my SSL certificate’s scope. It is trying to force https instead of just using http. Since it is only a temporary site, I have not gone about fixing this. However, I know better for the next time I build a temp site.
March 20, 2018 at 9:56 am #929631Hi JPGlobal,
Thanks for the feedback. I’m not sure if you got the issue fixed or not though? Please let us know if you should need any further help on the topic.
Best regards,

You are using an old version of enfold please update to the latest version.
After updating the theme if you still see the issue please enable debug mode and create a new page and copy the text on to a new page.
Your issue seems to be a different one from the above, please create a new ticket.

March 23, 2018 at 3:00 pm #931989Hi ya’ll.
Has anyone had a chance to look into the issue? I need to move on with the site to get it off my server and over to the client’s server. Just hope I don’t transfer the problem along with the rest of the files.March 25, 2018 at 9:53 pm #932710Hi,
If your client site is hosted on a server which is running on PHP 7 then it should not be an issue. Could you confirm if it is working fine for you?
Best regards,
VinayMay 17, 2018 at 7:03 pm #958312you can close this ticket. waiting to move site to new server with updated php
