We are working on a site, which we have designed using the advanced layout builder. In our design the background in dark red, and text is white. In the text block we´ve said styling > font colors > chosen #ffffff. However this means that the text also appears either entirely or partially white in the editor. This is a big problem as the text is not legible, for the the person attempting to edit the site, and this is a site that will need to be accessed by a lot of different moderators.

Thank you for the inquiry.
We cannot reproduce the issue on our end. The selected color in the Styling panel should not be getting applied to the placeholder text and should remain gray as shown in the screenshot below (see private field).
Please make sure that the theme is updated to version 4.8.8.1 and temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings.
