    Hi there,
I have recently noticed that a lot of the Text Element Toolbar elements are missing, such as the Heading/Paragraph dropdown, font color, indent etc, and found that this only applies when the WooCommerce Memberships plugin is active. All toolbar elements are visible when the Memberships plugin is deactivated.
I’ve been working with SkyVerge to troubleshoot this and they have asked if we can loop Enfold Support into the email chain – is this possible?

    From SkyVerge:
“I tested the admin area using web browser developer tools to see if there was any javascript or CSS error detected, but I was not able to find anything related to the conflict. There is nothing to indicate that it failed to load the Text Element toolbar, though it clearly has. I did some searching and I have found where others have had same issue, but caused by a different plugins. It seems to have popped up when WordPress 5.5 released and has been a random, but recurring error for some users since then.

Would you be able to loop in Enfold’s support team in regards to this issue? I would like to see if they may be able to provide more context around what is occurring and if they potentially have a fix or workaround for it.”

    Hey Suze,
Thank you for your patience, since you found that this seems to only occur when the WooCommerce Memberships plugin is active I assume that you have tried disabling other plugins like the gravity forms plugin shown in the screenshot?
Does this only occur on membership pages or on the whole site?
Can you include an admin login to a staging copy of your site so we can examine the toolbar, we don’t have the WooCommerce Memberships plugin to examine with.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
Yes, I’ve tried with other plugins such as just deactivating Gravity Forms. It was a process of elimination that led to finding that WooCommerce Memberships was causing the error.
The error does occur on all pages (not just the membership pages).
    Admin login details are supplied.

    Hi,
Thanks for the login, I did see the issue you described, and as I examined the WooCommerce Memberships plugin files I found that there seemed to be files for the block editor, so I thought that perhaps the plugin didn’t account for people still using the Classic Editor like you are. I tested by going to Enfold Theme Options ▸ Select Your Editor and choose the Block Editor then I activated the plugin and opened your About page, the first text element and all of the editor options were showing. I returned all of my changes back to the way I found the site.
So give this a try, I don’t believe there is anything we can do to correct the error the plugin is producing in the Classic Editor, but this seems to be a reasonable solution.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Brilliant – thanks Mike.
I’ve passed this information on to the WooCommerce Memberships support team.

    Hi,
Unless there is anything else we can assist with on this issue, shall we close this then?

    Best regards,
    Mike
