I am experiencing odd behavior on the admin of my page. I have a page where I have a simple mix of content, ie: photos and supporting text. The page I am building is at a mid point—not finished yet because to the issues I am having.

In short, when I edit the page, then go to either of the text blocks, I cannot see any of the text to edit it. The text shows on the front end. But on the back end all I see is the placeholder text, “Click here to add your own text.”

To be clear, I already added text to these two blocks, but when I return to the backend to edit that text, all I see is: “Click here to add your own text.” This is true of the Visual Editor and the Text Editor.

I have cleared browser cache. The site does flow through Cloudflare, but I have cleared those caches as well. I have tried several different browsers, Safari and Chrome. All plugins have been disabled. No steps that I have taken allow me to see, and subsequently edit this text.

    Hey William,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

We tried to login to the site but the password for the username is incorrect. Please check the info carefully or provide another admin account. Did you update the theme to version 5.7.1?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

    Thank you for the info.

We tried to recreate the curriculum page using a template on another page (see private field), but we encountered the same error with the text blocks. Looks like the content has been corrupted. Have you added html tags to the text blocks? It might be necessary to rebuild this page from scratch.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

I was not too far into this page so it did not warrant further troubleshooting. I have used Enfold extensively on over a dozen different sites—this is the first time I had seen this issue, so I am chalking it up to a glitch.

I was able to delete the Text Objects create new objects. There was no html tags on the old blocks, but something was awry. The next Text Blocks, with new text pasted in being sure there were no extraneous code snippets did the trick.

This thread can be closed as resolved. Thank you.
