In the Advanced Editor, when editing a Text Block inside of a page or post, it well not recognize the Enter/Return key when using the “Text” editor (as opposed to the “visual” editor). Hitting the Enter/Return key inside of the “visual” editor will advance it to the next line.

If you need to break a line in the text editor then try this out.
<br />If you want a double line then do this.

ElliottDecember 22, 2015 at 7:18 pm #556672Let me try to clarify: If I switch to the “visual” pane of the Avia editor within the text block and hit the return key it will advance to the next line, it will not do that in the “text” pane. BUT if, for example, I type out a sentence in the “visual” editor hit the return key a couple times and type another sentence, when I switch to the “text” editor it will show the sentences on different lines.

December 23, 2015 at 3:59 am #556867Hi!
That shouldn’t be happening. Make sure WordPress is updated and try deactivating all plugins.
What happens in the default theme?
Best regards,
ElliottJanuary 4, 2016 at 8:49 pm #559460Hi Elliot,
Sorry for the delay, Christmas vacation…
Anyway, all of the plugins and WP were up-to-date in the screenshots above. I updated the theme today, still didn’t work. I deactivated all the plugins and it worked. I ironically, I reactivated all the plugins and now it works.
So, thanks for your help. I guess that doesn’t really provide a conclusive resolution though.
A happy new year to you and all of Team Kriesi,
