    Hi,

I am not consistently seeing the WYSIWYG Editor when I open up a text block to edit. Instead, I see a simple form field which is a textarea with the id=”aviaTBcontent” – inside that form field is WHITE text on a WHITE background so it cannot be seen until I select it by draggin the mouse to select.

This has occurred, seemingly, as a result of updating the theme to 4.5.1 on a WP 5.0 core.

What can I do? These blocks are uneditable, unmanageable.

    Thanks

In case anyone else has this issue, I want to share here that I was able to get around it by installing a plugin that disables the new editing features in WordPress 5.0. It is called Disable Gutenberg. Not really a solution, but a workaround that will get you back up and running if you have the same issue we had.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update, you could also try the Classic Editor plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/

    Best regards,
    Rikard
