When I drop a text block onto the page and click it to edit, the Visual Tab does not show any content, or formatting buttons.
The content is there, but invisible.
The Text Tab, however, does show the content with html tags, and formatting buttons.
Any help is appreciated. Using Firefox 26.
Thanks,
ScottMarch 3, 2014 at 3:42 pm #231576Hi markofwits!
Please try deactivating all active plugins and check if that helps. We may need a temporary admin login to take a look if deactivating plugins does not help, so if you do not mind, please create and post it here privately.
Cheers!
YigitMarch 3, 2014 at 10:05 pm #231865Hi Yigit,
Tried deactivating plugins, and the problem still comes up about half the time.
A Text Block could have the formatting buttons on the first attempt, but not on the second, so it seems random?

I have created a private page called “Test Page” and added Text block. I did not have any issues typing, saving, editing the content. Please see screenshot here http://i.imgur.com/YyLrh8h.jpg
Which OS and browser are you using?Cheers!

March 4, 2014 at 12:42 am #231930Hey!
I got the issue on Firefox as well. But I deactivated “Ultimate TinyMCE” plugin then it works fine on Firefox.
Cheers!
YigitMarch 4, 2014 at 1:12 am #231948I still get the issue even with Ultimate TinyMCE deactivated. I don’t think it’s that plugin.
March 4, 2014 at 1:22 am #231958Hi!
I have checked your website on Firefox 27.0.1 on Win7 http://i.imgur.com/Wb6IxTG.jpg
Please try updating Firefox to the latest version and check if that helpsCheers!
YigitMarch 4, 2014 at 1:33 am #231963Also, while Internet Explorer does show the formatting buttons, the HTML below the buttons is shown as plain text, not formatted HTML.
Firefox displays the previewed HTML correctly. See screenshots below.
Any thoughts?

March 4, 2014 at 2:03 am #231971Issue still occurs randomly in Firefox 27 (see below).
If you try editing a Text Block a few times, you will probably come across the issue. I come across it on the 2 Text Blocks on my Home page
March 4, 2014 at 9:10 am #232082Hey!
I didn’t experience the issue when adding content on a Text Block however the SEO plugin might be causing the issue. Please try to deactivate the plugin then test it again. You should probably use http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/

IsmaelMarch 4, 2014 at 9:44 am #232104Hi Ismael,
Issue still occurs with All-In-One SEO deactivated.
I tried earlier with all plugins deactivated and it still occurred with all of them deactivated.
