    Hi guys

    I have just upgraded to the latest version of Enfold and have found a small bug in the Text Box. I thought that perhaps it was an issue with the browser, so have tested it on Chrome and Firefox and the problem appears on both.

    If you have a lot of text within a text box and you scroll down, the formatting part of the text box scrolls up with the text. The only thing that remains at the top of the page are the words “Text Block”. Everything else below that scrolls up, making it difficult to format text or edit links.

    I’d be happy to send a print screen to show you what I mean, if you can let me know which email to send it to, as there doesn’t seem to be an option to attach a file here.

    No problem … here you go.

    As you can see when you scroll down the page, the formatting toolbar disappears, so in order to format any text, you have to scroll down to it, highlight it, then scroll back up to the top to apply the formatting.

    Hey Ivana!

    I don’t think that’s exactly a bug, the text block element worked like that before, but it could be a nice addition since WP 4 implemented this on the normal Page editor, feel free to request it here – https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests

    Hi Josue

    In previous versions, the formatting bar stayed in place while you scrolled down the page. Here is a screen shot of another client’s website whose theme has not yet been upgraded to the latest version.

    The problem only seems to have come up when the text block has had the two new tabs introduced: “Content” and “Colours”.

    Since then the formatting tool bar does not seem to stick.

    You are right, the problem is that now the iframe containing the text block content doesn’t have a fixed height, therefore the toolbar can’t stay on top. Not sure if this was intended but i’ll report it to Kriesi anyways.

    Thanks Josue. Having it there makes formatting much easier. I hope it can be incorporated again.

    Hey!
    If I am not mistaken this has changed with the latest wordpress update. The text field now expands automatically if a lot of content is inside. I am afraid there is currently not much we can do about this behavior….
