For the mainpage https://mindventure.dk/ and other pages, testimonials are no longer shown after updating to the newest Enfold theme (4.5.7).
Problem is showing this:
[testimonial_view id=8]and
Widget Area: “Facebook Video”
Please bear in mind that the above worked before without any problems.
Same goes for:
https://mindventure.dk/metode/and the Widget Area: “Mindventure Metode”
Please let me know how to make these things appear again!?
Just for reference, all of a sudden the homepage also seems extremely slow. I hope you have a solution for that as well…

Thanks for the update.
We are not really sure what’s going on there, but the testimonial slider displays back when we set its height manually.
.strong-view.modern.slider-container .strong-content { height: 500px; }You can only use youtube or vimeo url in that widget. You can’t embed a facebook video with that. If you really want to use it, follow these instructions.

I’ve spent 100s of hours on the work on the homepage, so I’m looking to you to find solutions!
I’ve gone from a load time around 2.5 secs to 7,5 secs! How is it fixed?

I just want to let you know that for the past 6 months Ive used the widget to post my facebook video. For some reason that doesnt work now!
I now inserted the facebook video using your suggestion. For some reason it works in chrome, but once you try to play the video in Safari, it won’t work. Any idea why?

I don’t have a Safari browser to check this with, so I’ll ask the team to help. Can you provide a screenshot of the page or the facebook video section on Safari?

Mike solved the problem with the 404 errors!
Back to the testimonials:
For some reason, Im unable to push the “read more” button on a couple of the testimonials on a chrome browser on the mac. In safari it’s no problem.
Check out mindventure.dk and look at the testimonial:
“Fællesskab, venskab… read more…”Update: for some reason a facebook video can be displayed through your widgets again…
Only problem is that the facebook video still won’t start playing on Safari, which most of my users are browsing through!!
Please keep on looking into solving that?!

Does the facebook video widget play properly on Safari if you switch to a default theme? Please ask the plugin or script authors for additional help.

The widget is provided by the Enfold Theme and I put in the facebook video! You are the “plugin/widget” script author. Can you solve the problem?

The theme doesn’t contain that widget by default. It’s from a plugin or a custom script on your installation. Please check it carefully.

It’s not from a plugin or custom script, and I’ve used this setup for the past year just using your widget. I’ve checked it as carefully as I could. Here’s what I see on my end:
The video has been put in through the widget area using a “video” Widget and then this url has been added in this url: https://www.facebook.com/mindventure.dk/videos/143587079762558
I’ve added FTP access and homepage access if that can help in any way!
Please check out my widget which I’ve called “FB” and see for yourself!?Once that has been done, and if you can confirm that Im using an Enfold widget, please provide a solution that enables the video to be played in Safari as well!

That is the default video shortcode from WordPress. It’s not from the theme.

You’ll know that a widget is generated by the theme when the widget name is prepended with the theme slug.
Example: Enfold Instagram, Enfold Advertising Area, Enfold Combo Widget etc.

IsmaelDear, I have the last version of enfold, however when I add a widget video of youtube to my product page (woocommerce) the video no load. I fact when I write the url in the widget video appear an message of we cant load the video in spanish ” Lo siento, no podemos cargar el vídeo en la URL facilitada. Por favor, comprueba que la URL sea de un archivo de vídeo compatible (.mp4, .m4v, .webm, .ogv, .flv) o streaming (p. ej. YouTube y Vimeo). However the video was upload in mp4 format. Can you help me? Thank
