    Hi, On my homepage, using a Galaxy 5, the testimonial slider works very well until I touch it. After touching it the element the slider freezes on one testimonial and won’t slide again until I refresh the page. To test I took out all my custom css. I also put a copy of the testimonial slider on a page by itself and still the problem persists. The only plugins running are Yoast and Updraft+ Here’s the page http://mobilebyfriday.com/testtrashtest/

    Also I just checked another enfold site and I see the same issue: http://responsivebeach.com/

    I tried turning off touch for that element by applying the css below to the color section. It did successfully turn of touch to the color section but problem persists. Do I need to do something different to apply the css to the testimonial slider itself?

    #rds-kill-the-touch {
    touch-action: none;
    }

    Help is appreciated!! Thanks, Rob

    Hey rdswestnet!

    you are using a caching Plugin, so go into plugin’s settings and choose to switch off caching. Deactivate this and all other plugins. Afterwards clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times.

    Best regards,

    Hello Andy. I had already done all that except for deactivating yoast and updraft+. I also have now checked it on another phone (also galaxy s5). I had also checked the same element on another website and found same problem.

    However I just did exactly precisely what you suggested and same problem. Even weirder I have now discovered if you touch the element with a swiping gesture there is no problem. But if you tap – even gently – anywhere in the color section that contains the testimonial slider, the slider freezes. Thanks very much, Rob http://mobilebyfriday.com/

    ps any opinion on using the caching plugin in general? Tested by pingdom from NY the loads in about 950ms without the plugin and 650ms with (which is awesome). Are caching plugins likely to cause odd problems?
