    Hello
    after we updated to the latest version of Enfold our website became horrible slow.
    Even URLs without any big load (just text and a form or even a small FAQ) needed over 8 seconds to load.
    Since we have more than 4.000 users per day we had to restore the old version.

    Compared on the same URL:
    Old Enfold: 1,1 seconds loading time
    New Enfold: 7,2 seconds loading time
    Checked with several browsers and Pingdom

    We deactivated all plugins to see if thats the issue but still – very slow.
    What could be the reason?
    How can we fix that?

    saving a page: 12 sec
    calling a page to edit: 10 sec

    Try installing these two plugins to see what is consuming resources on the backend:

    you really recommend a plugin thats almost unmaintained and oudated?
    “This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.”
