    Hi there!
I would like to hide some of my shop-categories but all the solutions i found here or elsewhere didn’t work.
CSS would be fine for me.
Thanks a lot for looking at this.
I will send you a link to my site in the “private content field”
    Thank you and best regards

    Maik

    Hey webbiz215,
Perhaps the WooCommerce Product Categories Selection Widget would be a good solution for you.

    Best regards,

    Hi Mike!
    Thank you for this suggestion.
I checked out the plugin, the backend looks exactly like what I need.
Unfortunately it gives me this fatal error in my frontend / widget
Fatal error: Cannot declare class WC_Product_Cat_List_Walker, because the name is already in use in /home/zoggsolu/www/dev-fsg.akkudoktor.ch/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/walkers/class-wc-product-cat-list-walker.php on line 153

Any idea how to solve that?
Or do you have a different solution?
I would be also comfortable to ad some code to my childthemes function.php if that is necessary and helps

    Big Thx in advance
    Maik

    Hi webbiz215,

You might want to write to the plugin author and ask him about the issue.

As for the original issue, you mean you want to hide some categories in the sidebar menu or where? Can you please explain a bit more?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hello Victoria,

    Thank you for your help.
Fortunately I figured it out. I needed to take the other Menu-Widget out at that point.
After that, it worked like charm.
    Thanks again @mike and @victoria
