Hello,
I was given responsibility of a website using the Enfold template. I had to transferred hosting companies and after doing so I noticed the template keeps referencing back to an old CSS file. Currently, I can’t make any changes to the template because of this error.I am providing you credentials so you can log in to the server and test this yourself. Before you do, please take a look at the website’s footer then change any text on the copyright field and you will notice how the entire footer will change. It will become another color and different font type. In fact, many other elements across the site will also change like buttons, font types, colors. etc. However, I can make any changes to page text or forms but none that is related to the template.
Thanks in advance for your help

Thanks for the login details. Did you try to delete the old CSS and JS files under Enfold->Performance?
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 23, 2023 at 12:01 pm #1398987Hello Rikard,
Thank for your response. I did and as soon as I do the issue I’m reporting comes up. I have a staging site which is equal to prod. You can see how the site now looks like after trying to delete the files under Enfold->Performance.
February 23, 2023 at 5:44 pm #1399046Hi,
Thanks for the update. It’s very likely that the code you’ve added in the copyright field is causing this problem. Please try to add your content/links in one by one in that field, to see when things start breaking.
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 24, 2023 at 3:02 pm #1399163Hi,
I understand what you mean but I never added any code to it. The moment I change anything, even if I add a word to it. It causes it to break. Even if I change a setting on the template like delete old CSS or JavaScript files will cause it to break. The template keeps trying to compile to an old CSS file so changing something with the template will make buttons, menu, footer and other elements look different. There is obviously a piece of code which has been corrupted. I’m not sure how to go about fixing it so it compiles to the latest CSS.
You can login to stage if you like to do more testing so prod remains working.
Thanks

February 25, 2023 at 11:49 am #1399235Hi,
I understand, but that code isn’t added by default. In order to help you out, we would have to start somewhere. The likely problem is the code in the copyright field. Did you try removing it, then add the content and links in bit by bit? If not, then please try that out first of all.
You could also try activating the parent theme, and deactivate all plugins, in order to exclude any external problems.

RikardFebruary 27, 2023 at 12:52 pm #1399413Hello,
I tried doing the following:
1) I disabled all plugins and deleted the code that was in the footer. It didn’t work. I came up to the same behavior after saving.
2) I activated the main template and that works correctly. I also added the footer content from the child to the main template and that worked correctly.
3) I deleted the child and installed it again hoping to fix the issue but I got the same behavior
4) I tried resetting the child by importing parent theme settings but that didn’t fix the issue. The footer still doesn’t look like it should be, the buttons look wrong, fonts are off, etc. By off, it means they keep referencing back to an old stylesheet.
5) I then reset all theme settings so it can go back to factory settings by selecting every team option tab but I’m still getting the same error. I even went to httpdocs/wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia and deleted every CSS file in it and it does not work.
My questions to you are the following:
1) How can I delete the 108 templates found in the child? It does not work even after trying a factory reset
2) Is there a cache I need to clear? If I go to this folder on the server. https://z3ro.tech/wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia This file doesn’t exist. I deleted so it would pick up the updated one but it is still being generated by the template. https://z3ro.tech/wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/avia-merged-styles-19233a6c99660f603f8947d50d16d205—63fc91eec4069.css
If I tried deleting old CSS and Javascript files under performance doesn’t seem to be doing anything. You can see the site after doing all I did at https://z3o.tech/.
Thanks for your help,
February 27, 2023 at 6:05 pm #1399437Hi,
Thanks for the update. Is there any caching coming from your server maybe? I tried checking your staging site just now, but the login details are not working anymore.

RikardFebruary 27, 2023 at 7:12 pm #1399444Hello,
I turned off caching in the server. The previous credentials got deleted after I used a back up of the website. I’m sending you new ones.
Thanks
February 28, 2023 at 7:27 am #1399473Hi,
Thank you for the info.
We temporarily disabled the file compression settings in the Performance panel and set all elements in the template builder to always load, which seem to have corrected some of the issues but the popup from the PUM plugin is still not loading correctly. You may need to reconfigure the popup in order to make it work.
Best regards,
