I have problems with the template posts displaying incorrectly on the back and front end within the preview.

I have created a new draft post, and used a blog template that I liked from a previous blog post.
The previous blog post content keeps showing in the back end instead of the new content.

I have updated a few times and sometimes it shows correctly in the previews and sometimes it shows as the old content from the template.

    How can I resolve this?

    Hey SarahKay09,

Did you try clearing your browser cache and reload? You could also try an incognito window if you are using Chrome to avoid any caching in your browser.

    Best regards,

    Hi Rikard,
I tried that. When I am using the blog template to create a new post and overwriting the data, I save it and it looks great and then when I go back into it the new content has been replaced with the template content.

I’m guessing nobody can use templates for the general layouts if they intend to change anything?

    Hi,
I tried to troubleshoot this issue but the login credentials you provided do not work for me. Would you mind checking once again and then send us working login credentials?

The user role for the account you send us should be set to ‘administrator’ so we can try to disable all plugins and add custom code (if necessary) to resolve the issue.

    Best regards,
    Vinay

I’ve checked it again and noted it in the PC.
    Thanks

    Hi,

Thank you for the credentials, I created a new private test post and loaded the blog layout template and tested in various combinations and updated the post several times and every the time “UPDATED CONTENT” loaded fine.

If you notice this issue again please make sure to clear your browser cache that should fix the issue for you. In case you still face the same please let us know how we can reproduce it? So we can troubleshoot it further.

    Best regards,
    Vinay
