Hi,
I’m not very happy with the author pages, the pages cannot be customised too well. I think that may be due to WordPress it’s self. I decided to create two individual profile team memebr pages and have the author info on there instead. My question is the following:1. I would like to have a team members profile photo on the top right of the content similar to this: http://www.southbourne.com/deana-smart but instead of the image in the sidebar it will be in the content instead.
2. I would like the content to be aligned left like it is on that page. It should be easy enough, right? I’m not finding it so, I tried adding the team members photo but I see no where to align it right. It sticks in the middle and content drops below.
3. Almost off-subject – on the author pages the Twitter or Google+ links do not display?
Thanks in advance for your help.

give us a link showing what you have done so far on your author page and we take a look. Provide us screenshots showing what you want to achieve exactly (imgur.com, public dropbox), so we can give you some precise CSS code.
When editing a page with Avia Layout Builder you will find “Social Share Button” element in “Content Elements”.

You are over complicating it:My question is:
On two of the pages I want to add a team member that is justified right with the text that is aligned left and wrapping the team member. I can’t find a way to do this with the team member photo.
Second question is: I want to add Twitter, LinkedIn and Gogole+ below the authors bio on the authors. It has nothing to with the “Social Share Button” as you suggest as this can’t be used on the authors page.
When creating authors page it is done from the users section. It gives you the opportunity to add social profile buttons. However, they do not appear on the page.
Thanks

April 27, 2015 at 1:37 pm #435218Hi Vince!
Please add 2 column elements to your page, could be 3/5 column element for your text on the left and 2/5 column element for author image. Then you can use Icon element under content elements to add social profiles of the author. If you would like to have social share buttons instead, you can add them under content elements as well. Please make sure that you are using the latest version 3.1.3 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Cheers!
YigitApril 27, 2015 at 3:42 pm #435320Hi Yigit,
Okay I tried that – the image works and sligns to the right using the 2/5 box. The text aligns to the left using the 3/5 box. The problem now is that the text is not wrapping the image and both content and image are displaying apart.Social links author page
I’m not talking about the social links on the page above. It is the social links under the author bio on the author page. This has the option of adding two social icons from the user control panel but it wont display for some reason ont eh author page? Thanks

April 30, 2015 at 11:12 pm #437841Hey!
please post a link to your website, as we need to inspect it, to see what’s going on. You can mark it as private message if you wish, so only we moderators are able to see it.
However, you could try to add margin-left and/or margin-right for your columns, so text and image get closer. But as I already said, if you want us to assist with some CSS code we would need to be able to see and inspect it.Regards,

1. Author page is not a Enfold feature, instead it’s a normal WordPress feature. So please go to Users->click on the user you want to edit->”Biographical Info”
There you can add HTML code, for example:<a href="http://www.facebook.de/">Facebook Link</a>
For more customization you could use a plugin like these:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/fancier-author-box/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/starbox/2. What kind of address do you mean? Not sure what you want to achieve … Please ask in in the WordPress forum if you have questions about normal WordPress features.
3. That’s a normal WordPress function as well :). Please refer to this link:

the author page is exactly the way you see it. If you need something else then you need to customize it. As we are very busy right now (as you could see in the forum queue), we can’t offer you any help on changing your author page the way you want it. So please hire a freelancer for this job: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization
Cheers!
