Table in sidebar breaking

Hey there,

I’m trying to get a log-in built via table to fit into my sidebar. I inserted a text widget and pasted the code, and the functionality works, but the table runs off the right side of the sidebar and doesn’t seem to respond to ‘width’ properties.

How can I make the table fit nicely into the sidebar?

EDIT: I was able to fix the issue by removing the surrounding table and just leaving the table rows. Not sure if it will validate, but it fits now. If there’s a better way to do this please let me know!
