    Hallo,
das Zeichen “<“, wenn es in einer Tabellenzelle als Inhalt steht, zerschiesst die ganze Tabelle.
Gibt es hierzu Tricks, um dieses Zeichen trotzdem benutzen zu können?

    Hi 2wmedia,

Please try to use & l t ; instead (without the spaces) to see if that works better.

Hello and thanks for your reply.

    Tried & l t ; and also the Unicode dezimal & # 6 0 ; (http://unicode.e-workers.de/entities.php) but this doesn’t help .

The & # 6 0 ; was working only when put into only one single tablecell, but as fast as I put it into two different table cells the whole table gets zerschossen again.

Besides that it would be too complicated for customers, who are not computer scientists, to write their table contents in HTML, Unicode dezimal or in other computer science signs.

    Best regards

    Hey!

Works fine when I converted the “less than” symbol to its html entity code: http://simplify-ppg.2w-demo.de/x1-90-100/

    Cheers!

    Thank you for checking.

    How did you do that?

As fast as I put the & l t ; (without spaces) in the cells above, before the both 50 kg contents, like in this picture http://simplify-ppg.2w-demo.de/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/sign-problem-50.png I get a ruined table again: http://simplify-ppg.2w-demo.de/x1-90-100/

    Best regards

    Hi!

It’s probably best to add the less than symbol once you’re all done with the page. As soon as you update the table again, the editor converts the html entity code to the actual symbol which breaks the layout of the element. Add the html entity once you’re finished with the page.

    Hi,

we were actually ready with this page. After I put that problematic sign before 50 kg and klicked on SAVE and REFRESH nothing more else was changed. The less-sign as a content of Enfold simply doesn’t work.

Guys, don’t you think, that the developers of Enfold should fix this issue? Because the less-sign belongs to any basic keyboard.

    Best regards

    Hi!

Yes, I agree that this is an issue that requires a fix but Kriesi is somewhat occupied right now (latest patch coming soon and extra demos) so it will take a while before he can get his hands on this problem. For now, please refresh the page, make sure that the layout is ok. Add the html entity code of the less than symbol then save the page. Remove the converted less than symbol when you want to update the page. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

    Cheers!

It’s ok if you add this issue to the list of “Enfold bugs & fixes” for next Enfold updates.

    Thank you for your efforts.
