Tagged: slug, tab section
I would like to edit some slugs of the Spanish version of my site. Why? Because when using the Tab section, if the tab titles have accents (e.g. Why = Por qué, What = Qué, How = Cómo), the URL that is generated removes the letter that has the accent. Therefore, the URLs look awkward in Spanish with slugs such as: …/#porqu, …/#qu, …/#cmo
Thank you!
Hi Mike,
Using the Quick Edit I can change the slug of the page. However, the problem I have is with the Enfold’s Tab section, which adds automatically an additional slug for each tab (with a hastag in front).
Best regards,
Albert
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
That’s not possible because encoded or special characters are NOT allowed in a URL, so the theme automatically removes them. You have to replace them with simple characters or consider using another element.

Hi Ismael,
Thanks for the clarification. What a pity. As a suggestion for new updates of the theme, it would be nice that where there is a letter with an accent, the theme would just remove the accent but keep the letter in the slug (as WordPress does with posts and pages).
Best,
Albert
Hi,
Thank you for the consideration and the feedback – this is much appreciated.
