First of all – this new element is a very mighty layout thing! Thanks – it is a value complement to enfold.
is there a possibility to remove the positioning of the tab-headings when the screenwidth gets smaller (not the tab-content)
this container (.av-tab-section-tab-title-container) : it centeres the active tab-heading when screen-width is less than the whole width of the images. Is there a simple way to get rid of that? (maybe this element is centered by a new js rule. )
The reason of my question: We can use this tab-section for a horizontal page content and the tab headings are then a “pseudo navigation”
A bit of css will make the rest of changings than (#top .av-section-tab-title might be set to display: inline-flex ; that little arrow should be positioned absolute then etc.)March 8, 2017 at 2:52 pm #757810Hey Guenter,
Thanks for your kind words, we are glad you liked the new element :)
Can you please post a link to your page and a screenshot showing the changes you would like to make? I checked on Enfold 2017 demo however i am not sure i understood you clearly :)
Thank you always for your contributions to our forum! Please know that we appreciate it :)
Best regards,
YigitMarch 9, 2017 at 1:05 pm #758323the new element would be nice as an “Imaged Menu” – but than all images must be visible in the viewport.
On smaller screens the tab title container centers the active tab title.all images are seen in a bigger block. the arrow has to be fixed in its positioning – but this is simple css. I can manage that.
but the centering of the active title seems to be calculated in a js.
i did not find it yet. – i think it will be nice to switch of that calculation. (performance reasons)because i can do that with css:
https://webers-testseite.de/ikom/tab-section/
make the screen smaller and see what happens!
March 9, 2017 at 1:11 pm #758330this is only for special cases – the normal behavior is more mobile friendly –
is there a possiblity to let the tab-content hight be dynamic. this is for mobile unfriendly because if we have a great difference in content amount – the distance is to large to the next section.by the way as you definitly know it is in shortcodes js – from line 2879
March 14, 2017 at 5:16 pm #760862I have an additional question:
Is there a way to arrange the new tab section with vertical alligned tabs?
March 14, 2017 at 7:04 pm #760919Hi simonac,
Do you mean like tabs menu on the left, content on the right for example? This can be done in Advanced Layout Editor.
Or it was not what you meant?

VictoriaMarch 24, 2017 at 3:04 pm #766225thanks Victoria for your input – i’m often brainstorming in my topics i started. you can see result here on the link above.
But that solution is a css one – the script tries still to center active tab heading. You can diminish screenwidth – than you can see the effect.March 28, 2017 at 1:11 pm #768097Hi,
I’ve checked the link you’ve provided an smaller screen sizes, but can’t see the issue you’re talking about or I’m not sure what you mean. A screenshot highlighting would really help us to understand more clearly what you want to achieve.
Are you talking about the gap between the content and the next element (in your case “Color Section”), which you want to get rid of? If yes, I’ve already notified Kriesi about this behavior, so let’s see if he can do something about it. In addition feel free to make a feature request for Kriesi: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/

AndyMarch 28, 2017 at 3:18 pm #768195Well thanks Andy for your input. You can close the thread.
The link shows how i managed it – but with css solution only. the difference between the normal behavior of tab-section an mine is that alll images of the tab-heading stayes visible. Normally the tab-titles were centered arround the active title and the rest if bigger than screenwidth goes to off-screen. -
