I’m not sure if this is a bug or there is reason why the code inserts the number “1” when you leave the Tab Title empty.
For the purpose of our website build we want the ability to leave some tab titles blank and not have anything displayed at all.See screen shot of page below , as you can see in the left hand side grey area we are using the tab element. The last 4 tabs we want to keep for formatting purposes, as they act as a way to create vertical padding/margin for our pages. However we do not want them to show the number “1” we just want it blank
Below in the private section are the credentials to log into the site , you can then navigate to page below to view it live.

April 26, 2019 at 4:22 am #1094600Hey webworm72,
Thank you for the login, but it’s not admin so I couldn’t investigate very much. I see that you are using Enfold v4.5.4, please try updating to v4.5.6, also please try disabling all plugins to see if this continues.Best regards,
MikeApril 26, 2019 at 9:53 pm #1094830Thank you very much for the response Mike !!!
To keep it simple for troubleshooting purposes I uploaded the theme to a domain that I am not doing anything with.The install below is WordPress 5.1.1 and the Enfold v4.5.6, no plugins at all being used and it is still doing the same things when Tab Titles are left empty.
So it appears to be a minor bug / issue with the tab code. I can certainly provide admin logins to this install, although I’m sure you can replicate this on your end.
let me know
ThanksApril 27, 2019 at 3:12 pm #1094910Hi,
Thank you for the feedback, indeed I was able to reproduce, I believe the issue here is that it was not considered that someone would want to have an “empty” title in a tab section, the “1” seems to be the null result, but I don’t see a solution to target this only. I do find that adding a blank space in the title field solves this issue. Please try this. I imagine that at some point you intend to add a proper title for the title tabs? So I believe that this is not really a “bug” but more that the required fields are not used.
Please let us know if adding a blank space works for you also.Best regards,
