Hi we have Enfold installed on a site and it’s suddenly causing problems with the Avia Layout Builder. The JS error that I can see occurring is in a file called avia-footer-scripts-d7fecae6a63aafec2de6d7b36d52c07b—626bf33867acf.js
This is called near the bottom of the file, in fact its the last JS file called in the page.
<script type=’text/javascript’ src=’https://bonomi.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/avia-footer-scripts-d7fecae6a63aafec2de6d7b36d52c07b—626bf33867acf.js’ id=’avia-footer-scripts-js’></script>We don’t how why this has suddenly stopped working and the Enfold theme and WordPress itself are up to date. We’ve also already turned off all the 8 or so plugins the site has and it doesn’t seem to be them interfering with it as its the same even if all deactivated.
Do you have any ideas ?

May 3, 2022 at 7:34 pm #1350384Hi,
Thanks for that. Please try to disable file compression under Enfold->Performance. That in combination with SG Optimiser is the likely cause of your problem.

RikardMay 5, 2022 at 9:38 am #1350581Hi
We’ve followed your advice and the issues we had on the home page largely seem to be fixed. One issue was that the full width slider wasn’t displaying. This is now fine but we now have a large white blank space under the top slider, which never used to be there, and we’re struggling to work out why.
Please could you advise?
Many thanks
Steve
May 5, 2022 at 10:18 am #1350590Hi,
Thanks for the update. The large gap seems to be cache related, could you try to deactivate your caching plugin to see if that helps please?

May 5, 2022 at 10:45 am #1350596Hi
I’ve disabled the SiteGround chaching in the SG Optimiser in the Dashboard but it doesn’t seem to have helped.
Any other ideas?
Cheers
May 5, 2022 at 12:26 pm #1350607Hi,
I’m getting different results depending on if I’m logged in or not. It works when logged in, but not when logged out. That would indicate a problem with caching, since caching plugins won’t show cached content for logged in users. I’m not sure how to completely clear the cache from your site/plugin, but your hosting provider or the plugin developers might be able to help you out with that?
Best regards,
RikardMay 5, 2022 at 2:37 pm #1350626Hi Rikard
I’ve been onto SiteGround and all caches have been cleared and caching temporarily turned off.
This has made no difference. I get the issue with the white space under the home page slider whether I’m logged in or logged out.
SiteGround seem to think this is caused by the theme or a plugin clashing with it.
I’m completely stuck and my client is pushing us for a fix.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Steve
