Tagged: syntax error
Hello,
I just installed Enfold on my WordPress site and am getting the following syntax error when I go to some sections of WordPress ever since I activated it:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ‘)’ in /home/content/07/6841107/html/staging/wp-content/themes/enfold/enfold/framework/php/font-management/class-avia-font-management-base.php on line 429
How can I address this?
Thanks!
Hey gracemac,
Please check that you are using a PHP version of at least 5.6, v7 would be better.
If this doesn’t help, Please include a admin login & FTP access in the Private Content area, so we can take a look.
Best regards,
Mike
I’m running a staging site on a subdomain right now. The main website was running 5.2 and I upgraded it to 5.6 today (that’s the highest our hosting account type allows). That helped with some areas but I still see this issue in other sections of WordPress.
Hi,
Thank you for the login to your staging site, I took a look but I don’t see the error anywhere, and the site seems to be working correctly.
Please explain where I can see an error.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi Mike,
Oddly enough, I can’t replicate the syntax errors now. I’m on a different computer, so I’m wondering if I just needed to clear my cache after updating the PHP on the original computer. I’ll look into i more on Monday and if it continues for some reason, I’ll update this thread. Thanks for your help!
