Hey team,
Just installed enfold and am super excited to get started! I’m new to the conventions used to lay out pages and blog posts, so I was using the “import demo” function to swap between the different types of demos while using a child-template on my local instance.
Eventually, when I tried to restore the enfold template to its original state, the header bars were messed up with multiple blog pages, home pages, etc. Even when I deleted the duplicate instances of pages, the screen remained a mess. Despite this, if I activate the PARENT theme, everything goes back to normal. This only happens with a child theme.
I have deleted the child theme from my themes folder and re-downloaded the files but still get the same issues.
Any ideas on how to get the child themes working again? I would just like to start with a clean slate like with the parent theme, but can’t get back there.
Hi danmorrison!
Your hitting the “Reset All Options” button correct? That is going to reset the theme settings but the pages and posts that you imported are not going to be deleted so you will still see them in the menu.
Just setup a custom menu in Dashboard > Appearance > Menus and set it to the main menu area and it should fix the jumbled up mess your seeing.
Regards,
Elliott
