So, what would be the process of switching the order of the sidebar content? I had created a custom sidebar for every page and I wanted that to be first, the Displayed Everywhere to be second, and the automatic list of sub pages that is generated third. Is this something I would change in the sidebar.php or something?

Hi,
First, the nested subpages will not appear when you assign a sidebar on a page. Second, the custom sidebar will go first before the Displayed Everywhere sidebar.

Hmmm, the nested subpages seem to appear even while assigning a custom sidebar on this page.
I was hoping to change something in one of the PHP files (maybe the sidebar.php) to be able to make it so I could force the order to be different – have Displayed Everywhere go first, Custom Sidebar second, and the nested subpages third.
Thoughts?
Hi andreanapier1985,
I’ve never actually run across anything to change the default stacking order for wordpress. Looking through the codex entries for sidebars and register_sidebar didn’t really mention anything either.
You could try checking the general wordpress support forums or maybe stack exchange.
