    Hi, I have a child theme installed, and I need to add a plugin to my site. Can I just switch over to the parent theme, install the plugin, and then switch over to child theme again? Or will something get deleted?

    Hi again, I managed to do it. I activated the parent theme, installed the plugin, activated child theme again and everything was okay.

    Hi,

    To install plugin you do not have to switch the themes :) Plugins can be installed directly on any theme hope this helps.
