Support: I’m having a couple of issues concerning the main logo. First, I’m using the svg file format with the SVG Support plugin. But I’m having trouble getting the initial reverse (white) logo working on the hero images. The colored version of the logo works fine as the sticky header takes over when scrolling. I want the same look as the 2017 Enfold Theme demo where the reverse logo is on top of the hero image, then turns to color as you scroll down.
My other issue with the logo is making it a link to the home page, it isn’t linking right now and I can’t find where to change that.
Thanks in advance!
– RobertJuly 7, 2020 at 9:02 am #1228502the svg support plugin offers the possibility to have inline svg. but you don’t use that for logo?
on your logo there is now in the dom a<img src="/wp-content/uploads/your-logo.svg" …>
in this case you only had to insert on Enfold Options the link to your alternate Logo : – Header – Transparency Options : Transparency Logomaybe a link to your site could help me to give more advice
________
On that page here i use my svg as an inline-svg – and do change the fill color of the letters on header-scrolled
and transparency. So i do not need a different transparency logo on that case ( one svg – and change fill color )
https://webers-testseite.de/pureinstall/July 7, 2020 at 6:11 pm #1228645Hi Guenni007, I tried adding the svg main logo via theme options, but it wouldn’t show up. So I added it via css as a background image, which worked fine. Now, I’ve tried adding the transparent logo (png, svg) via Transparent Options but that doesn’t show up. Can the transparent logo be added via css too?
My other issue is the logo area not linking to the home page for some reason.
I’m unable to show the site since it’s in development and blocked from public view.
July 8, 2020 at 5:31 pm #1228908This is issue has been resolved, I switched up the design so I don’t need the transparent logo in the headers. I was able to get the main logo svg working via theme options and adding the sizing for the logo via css. The link issue was when I used the logo as a background in the .logo css, that removed the logo linking capability. Once I removed the logo as a background in the css the link worked on the logo.
