    Hi,

I have suddenly several parts of the website go blank. In the configuration all is still there. but when viewing the page many parts are just blank. (…including the full screen slider on the front page!)..

I think this may be related to it… I just received this email:

Howdy! Your site has been updated automatically to WordPress 4.0.1.

No further action is needed on your part. For more on version 4.0.1, see the About WordPress screen:

We just had the same thing happen too!

    #354627

Do a roll-back to 4.0.0 and it should fix it

    #354628

    TypeError: _self.imageUrls[key] is undefined
That’s the cause after the update to 4.0.1.

They’ve fixed the issue! This wasn’t Kriesi’s fault but well done to them on getting a fix sorted in such short notice! You can find the fix here:
    http://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990 (3.0.3)

(Also, you can update the theme by manually checking for the theme update in WordPress now)

    Hello,

i have the same problem but it existed also before updating to 4.0.1. When i want to take the Easy Slider or the partner logo element the pictures are not shown on the website. How can i fix it?

    Thanks, Daniela

Oh, i see there is a new update. I will try it.

Hey Daniela, If it’s not related to the new update (you had it before 4.0.1) then I’d recommend first updating to the latest Enfold 3.0.3 theme (keeping a site backup is always good practise btw) and disable every WordPress plug-in and refresh your browser – enable the plug-ins one by one until you find which one is causing issues with the Enfold theme. When all fails, disabling Plug-ins is my personal go-to solution :-)

    Hey!

Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.0.4 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Best regards,
    Yigit

Thanks! I did a roll back and that fixed it.
I then added a line to prevent automatic updates in the WP config file.
now that the update is there from kriesi I updated both, the template and WP and all works well. thanks!
