    Hi,

Till now I created subtitles in the body area of my posts, but that’s not good. So I decided to download and install a subtitles plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/subtitles

This plugin seems to do its work for blog posts, but not for pages. I guess it has something to do with blog posts not using the Avia Theme Builder… The FAQ page of the plugin says this about subtitles not showing up:
    https://github.com/philiparthurmoore/Subtitles#subtitles-doesnt-work

Subtitles relies on two things to work properly: 1) the_title being present in your theme and 2) the WordPress Loop. This plugin works by automatically filtering all appropriate post titles so that you are not put in the position of needing to open your theme files manually and using the custom template tags that are available in this plugin.

Can you guys please help me, and suggest a code snippet which will make the plugin work for all pages? Or should I better use another plugin, for example this one:

    Thnx in advance!

    Cheers,
    Marc

    Hey Marc!

Try switching back to the normal editor on Pages, that should make the plugin work. Please note that making third-party plugins compatible with the theme its outside our support scope.

Hi Josue, thnx for the reply.

I understand you guys don’t support for trouble with third party plugins, fair enough ;-)
Just wondered if you guys stumbled upon this problem before, and might have a code snippet or something.

Indeed I’ll disable the Avia Theme Builder – or just enter the subtitle in the body area.

You can close this topic, no worries mate!

    Cheers,
    Marc
