Eversince a past update the Submenu items in the burger/mobile menu have become invisible. When analyzing the HTML they are simply not included anymore. We have always used the Exclude Pages from Navigation plugin (https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/exclude-pages/) to allow users without settings access to generate their own mainmenu including submenu items.
Hey veronict,
Could you post a link to the site in question so that we can take a closer look please?
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
Thanks for that, did you try to change your settings for the burger menu under Enfold->Header->Burger/Mobile Menu?
Best regards,
Rikard
Yes i have tried changing the burger menu settings back and forth many times and trying different options to see if I can get the submenu options to display or appear in the HTML. None of the options have worked.
Hi veronict,
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Best regards,
Victoria
Hi veronict,
I see that you have a header.php file in your child theme, did you update it with a fresh copy when you upadated to 4.2?
Best regards,
Victoria
Hi,
I’ll be sure to compare any changes in the header of 4.2 to that of our child-theme in the near future, however this is not the cause of the issue as the issue persist even with the default enfold theme enabled instead of a child-theme. To see this on our environment I have disabled the child-theme and enabled the default enfold theme so you can see for yourself that the burger menu problem persists.
Hi veronict,
This issue was fixed in 4.1.2. Can you reupdate the theme? Maybe some JavaScript files did not overwrite properly.
Best regards,
Victoria
Hi Victoria,
That update resolves our problems, thank you for your time and effort.
