Can anyone from the Kriesi-Team please investigate this issue? It’s been over 24 hours without any sign from the team.

    #824452

My problem is getting very serious, I’m losing my customers.
As says b3plus: “Can anyone from the Kriesi-Team please investigate this issue?
    Thank You

    #825032

Why is this known problem getting ignored by the moderators and the team?
There are more then 12 people across 2 different threads with exactly the same problem.
If this is a problem related to the new update, please let us know at least.

    Thank you.

    Hi,
Many have found that for Sub Menu Items Mega Menu Not Showing On Mobile Version,
many have found that when using the “#” symbol to make no links in the main column of the menu. Removing the “#” symbol and entering “https: //” fixed it.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hello Mike,
please, you’re a moderator, you should try before saying it works…
As said giorgio_betagrafic in several threads, his solution (replace “#” by “https://”) does not work with all browsers.
It is the same for me and other people… Read all the threads please…
So, you should not say the solution is found, it’s not the case.
There is a real issue that Kriesi team has to solve as soon as possible.

    Hi Mike !
    Sorry, i don’t understand.

    For my menu :
TITLE (Mega Menu) link target Same window or tab (the target is a page).
    – sub title 1 (Column) link target Same window or tab (the target is a page).
    – sub title 1 (Column) link target Same window or tab (the target is a page).
    – sub title 1 (Column) link target Same window or tab (the target is a page).
    etc…
Before update, all work fine but now, I can’t see sub menu (always display submenu items).

Would you take a look at it please ?
    Thanks for your help !

I got the menu to work on mobile by adding a parameter to the link eg ‘#?something’ instead of just ‘#’

    #828927

    Hello peme,
unfortunately on my site, your solution doesn’t work, on any browser.

    #828937

same here. since last update, burger menu not showing after click

    #828945

    i confirm the # problem.

when you have a real link on the menu, the submenu appears.
if you let the # only…. no submenu.

    #828946

when you have a real link on the menu, the submenu appears.

    not for me :(

    #828983

    Same issue here.
Custom link # does not open submenu, http:// does.

Please fix this bug, thanks :)

    #829192

So de know there is a problem with the burger menu.
Would you please tell us when 4.1.3 will be released to fix the problem

    Thanks

    #829319

For me it works if i use ## instead of #
It’s only in the first menulevel, for subsubmenus it is not needed (but i added it also because then on each menuitem the mouse shows the same hover icon (link hand)).
I testet it on android with firefox and chrome als well as on desktop.

    Hello
Same mobile submenus problems with enfold 4.1.2 !!!

    #830472

    Hi,

Are the columns in your mega menu empty? Please note that the new menu script will not render empty mega menu columns or columns without sub menu items.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hello Ismael,
my columns are not empty and contain submenu items only.
I tried to use mega-menu on an other website and the issue is the same :
when mega-menu is checked, the sub-menu items don’t appear at all in the burger menu (av-burger-menu-ul class).
Nither on the screen, nore on the code.
See the chrome console screenshot :

    Hello,
I have the same mobile submenus problems with enfold 4.1.2!
When I switched in the General settings “Menu Items for Desktop” to “Display as Icon” then it also does’t work on PC – same as mobile…
    Best regards,
    Dieter

Any news from the Enfold Team about this issue?
Even if there’s no fix right now, an official statement/ reply would be highly appreciated so we know that the issue is known and on the way to be fixed.

    Thank you.

Hi there, I was also having this problem, I just added // as the custom link on my main menu and then the sub menus appeared for me…. does this work for anyone else?

    #831923

    Yes this also works!
May be it’s even better than my ## solution because you don’t have the annoying Statusline with the ##-link in desktop mode. :-)

    Hi,

    @zankaent
: I can’t reproduce the same issue on my installation. Please provide the login credentials so that we can check it. Did you modify the header.php file in the child theme?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    #832771

    Hi Ismael,

you’ll see the informations in private content joined to the reply.
I did not change the header, I have only a functions file and a style file on the child theme.
I erased the functions file to see if there was a difference, but no difference.

    Hi,

Are the columns in your mega menu empty? Please note that the new menu script will not render empty mega menu columns or columns without sub menu items.

I checked the menu items and the columns in the mega menu are empty. Please do not treat the mega menu columns as an actual menu item because they are not going to be included in the mobile menu if they are empty or do no contain any sub menu items. We know that is not how the mega menu columns worked before and we know how frustrating it is to see these changes but due to new menu options, new logic and limitations have to be included in the menu script. We hope that you’ll realize the possibilities and potential of the new menu options.

@zankent: Please add a sub menu item inside the mega menu columns and put the image there. If you don’t want to display a title in the mega menu column just enter a single dash: “-“.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Ismael,
If you know it’s frustrating for your end users you should probably look into some sort of documentation for this.
With me are a lot of people struggling to get something ‘so simple’ to work.

In the meanwhile, I’ve tried so many things to make this work as before the update but without any luck.
