Hello,
I just uploaded Enfold 4.1 on my website, and since, the sub-menus desapeared in mobile menu.My menu is like this :
Menu 1 (use as mega menu)
– Sub-menu 1.1
– Sub-menu 1.2
– Sub-menu 1.3
– Sub-menu 1.4
Menu 2 (use as mega menu)
– Sub-menu 2.1
– Sub-menu 2.2
– Sub-menu 2.3
– Sub-menu 2.4On mobile experience, the sub-menus have desapeared.
I checked the source code in all browsers, and they completly desapeared in the source code.I cleared cache on wordpress and browsers.
I tried all 3 solutions in the new Enflod pannel :
– Always display submenu items
– Dispaly submenu items on click (with and without clone)
– Display submenus items on hover
Nothing changes, the submenus don’t appear on the screen and the source code.I put the url of my website in private.
Please help !
July 17, 2017 at 3:25 pm #822671Hello. Not an admin, so I can’t see your URL, but have you tried updating to 4.1.1?
July 17, 2017 at 3:29 pm #822674Yes, I updated Enfold 4.1.1
July 17, 2017 at 3:32 pm #822682Under Enfold > Main Menu > Mobile Menu, maybe you have it set to default, which is to display sub menu items on HOVER.
July 17, 2017 at 3:39 pm #822690No I tried all 3 solutions in the Enflod pannel :
– Always display submenu items
– Dispaly submenu items on click (with and without clone)
– Display submenus items on hover
and the submenus don’t appear nither on the screen, nore on the source code, on the burger menu.July 17, 2017 at 3:47 pm #822699Wild. Without digging into your site, the only other thing I can think of is there is a plugin at fault. Have you done the plugin dance (activating/deactivating) until you find the potential culprit?
July 17, 2017 at 4:11 pm #822719I activated and desactivated all plugins and nothing changes…
July 17, 2017 at 4:52 pm #822747I have exactly the same problem!
July 17, 2017 at 7:17 pm #822835have this problem too, no submenu on click on mobile…
July 18, 2017 at 10:52 am #823188Ok, it seems we are at least 3 persons having the same problem,
if a moderator from Kriesi could help us, it would be great,
maybe there is a bug to fix in the burger menu 4.1.1…July 18, 2017 at 11:45 am #823205Same problem over here. Also tried every possible variation in the new menu settings.
Unfortunately nothing seems to work.
Still not working with version 4.1.2.- This reply was modified 7 years, 4 months ago by b3plus.
July 18, 2017 at 2:23 pm #823303Are you saying you’re working with 4.1.2 OR it’s working with 4.1.2?
July 18, 2017 at 2:37 pm #823311Hey!
Please make sure you guys are using Enfold 4.1.2 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and let us know if you still experience any issues :)
Cheers!
YigitJuly 18, 2017 at 2:45 pm #823314Hello,
I updated Enfold to 4.1.2 but the problem is still here : no submenu on click on mobile.July 18, 2017 at 2:48 pm #823316Did you clear your caches (browser, plugin, and CDN)? Also, out of curiosity, what version of PHP are you running?
July 18, 2017 at 2:54 pm #823324Yes I did.
PHP 5.6July 18, 2017 at 3:00 pm #823331So, on all my sites, even prior to 4.1.1, this issue has not been there and the only difference I can think of is I’m running PHP 7.0 across all of them.
Are you able to upgrade? If so, I highly recommend that you do that in general. If you do flip the switch, make sure you check all functionality afterwards and not just the Enfold submenus.
Also, if you haven’t already done so, make sure to do the plugin dance (activate/deactivate) to see if that isolates the issue.

I don’t think it’s a PHP problem.
As you know when you have a burger menu, the menu appears two times in the code :
1. The first time with standard class but it’s displayed “none”
2. The second one with burger classIn the standard class, I see all UL LI in the code, it’s ok.
But in the burger class, the submenus do not exist, that’s why it doesn’t appear on the screen.Maybe the problem comes from “mega-menu’ option, or an other kind, I don’t know, I think Kriesi team should know because they developped it.
July 18, 2017 at 3:13 pm #823338Understood. However, when there is a problem, the easiest potential fix is to compare what’s broke to what’s not broken. ; )
July 18, 2017 at 3:29 pm #823346It’s still not working after the update to Version 4.1.2.
July 18, 2017 at 5:37 pm #823433I updated PHP to 7.0,
no change, it still doesn’t work.July 18, 2017 at 6:03 pm #823442I am having the same issue with sub menus not expanding in mobile view using update 4.1.2
July 18, 2017 at 6:55 pm #823460Hello !
Me too !
I updated Enfold to 4.1.2 today but the problem is still here. No submenu with burger/mobile menu. I have test all MENU ICON SUBMENU ITEMS choice (Always display submenu items, just on click…), but no submenu on mobile :( .July 18, 2017 at 7:39 pm #823471Hi, I have the same problem, I update today to 4.1.2 and “Display submenu item on click” DON’T WORK ON MOBILE (iPhone 6s).
Somebody can help me?July 19, 2017 at 1:33 am #823575I resolved this way.
The problem was to use this “#” symbol to make no links to the main column of the menu. I removed this “#” symbol and I entered this: “https: //” and it returned all to normal, it works perfectly.
I hope I’ve been useful to someone.July 19, 2017 at 7:18 am #823702Hello,
your solution doesn’t work for me, it opens a link about blank.
But I found what was the issue : the “use as mega menu” option. If I uncheck this option, my submenus appear,
if I check anew this option, my submenus desappear. The issue is that the mega menu option is not compatible with the new burger menu 4.1.X.
Please, someone from Kriesi could fix the bug as soon as possible…Thanks

July 19, 2017 at 10:06 am #823796Hi ZANKAENT,
Surely there will be a better solution but the link is NOT clickable, you can see it on my site: (https://www.betagrafic.com/). For now I have solved the problem, but if there is a better solution, please leave somebody to the support as soon as possible.July 19, 2017 at 10:15 am #823808Hi Giorgio,
I tried your solution on my site, but it did not work :(
I see that it works on your mobile site, but if I am on a laptop or desktop and I click on your menu “Prodotti” ou “Servizi” for exemple, the link goes to a white page… it’s not perfect.July 19, 2017 at 10:22 am #823813Okay thanks ZANKAENT,
I did the tests and saw that it only works with FIREFOX but not with CHROME and NEVER WITH SAFARI.
Thanks for the seganation.
Now it’s URGENT that some of the technical support comes alive to solve the problem.July 19, 2017 at 2:36 pm #823976Yes, we are now 7 people having the same issue in this thread…
And we know exactly what is the issue. -
