Styling trouble: template width – and default styling of H1,2,3 tags

I’ve tested your template on a test site (I’ll delete the test site, when the new one is up’n running) before happily announcing to my superiors, that I was now ready to create a new, fresh and lovely WP website based on Enfold. Alas the new site, I’ve created is not as easy to work with as the old one. And it just doesn’t look as good.
An example is the width. When I open the testsite and the new side next to one another in the same browser, the width is clearly different – by approx 2~300 px.
Also: even when I set the H1,2,3 etc. in the advanced editor to be Text Transform = none, they’re all set to upper case, which we don’t want. And when I try to change the colour to the desired theme colour (#0d6469), this simply doesn’t work. Not when I set the colour under advanced styling. And not when i try to add it to the editor as a custom colour. This is quite frustrating, and I really hope, you can help.
