Styling Partially Working

When I change the predefined color scheme from Orange to Splash Orange – some things do change like fonts. Other items like the background for the main area and the alternate content area, don’t change. For some reason my theme is stuck in “Orange”. I thought it was a caching issue (I have CDN on wpengine) but I do “purge all assets” multiple times and the theme backgrounds just wont change.
